Spring Travel Soccer is for players in grades 3 and up (HS Registration details to follow)
Please arrive 30 mins prior to your start time to check in

Braintree Travel Soccer is a low-cost, competitive soccer program. We offer professional training as well as game play against advanced teams that challenge our players to improve their skills. Most of all, we offer a fun soccer community that encourages individual growth and personal development. All interested players are highly encouraged to attend tryouts
PLEASE CAREFULLY READ THE FOLLOWING CRITICAL INFORMATION
Players are encouraged to attend both tryout sessions to facilitate us getting the best evaluation of the player’s skill and ability. Our preseason training sessions start the first Sunday in January and run through March. Our Spring Travel teams compete in one of four divisions in the South Shore Soccer League, within their age group. SSSL is made up of teams from 20+ towns from Quincy to Marion. Most teams will have four home games and 4 away games. Players are expected to MAKE A COMMITMENT to their teams and attend ALL practices and games. SSSL games typically start the first weekend of April (Friday, Saturday, or Sunday) and run through mid-June, culminating with the league playoffs for teams that qualify. Players will typically have a game and a training session each week during the regular season. Some of the champions of the SSSL playoffs (typically held on Father’s Day) have the added commitment of playing for a state title the last weekend in June. We require all players to MAKE A COMMITMENT to be available for the entirety of the Spring season, including the state title games. 1. Registration for the Spring 2027 season will be online at http://braintreeyouthsoccer.org. Online registration will open 8/25/2026, and players should be registered prior to the first tryout. Players not registered will not be able to tryout.
2. Players are strongly encouraged to attend both tryouts. Attendance may impact team placement.
3. The registration fee covers league costs, insurance, professional training initiatives, and game play. BTS incurs costs prior to team placement. A full refund will be given if the request is received before November 1, 2026. A partial refund will be issued between November 1st and November 15th. There are no refunds of registration fees after November 15, 2026.
4. BTS teams play competitively in the South Shore Soccer League. Players are expected to make a commitment to their team, teammates, and the program. Team placement consideration includes an evaluation of the entire player, including, but not limited to ability, attitude, and commitment. For playoff divisions (grade 5-12), that could mean playing through the end of June, in league and state tournaments.
All players should wear shorts, shin pads, soccer socks, soccer cleats and a white t-shirt (no club or travel shirts please). All players should also bring water and a soccer ball. Please label all personal items. Winter indoor training starts in January and runs through late March, held at facilities in Braintree.
The Spring Soccer season runs from April – June. Game times for the 2027 season are detailed below.
