2023 FALL SOCCER REGISTRATION IS OFFICIALLY CLOSED!
Welcome to 2023 Fall Soccer registration. This is a town-based recreational league for boys and girls in grades K-8 who reside in or attend school in Braintree. The goal of the league is to promote the game of Soccer and to allow everyone to enjoy the game and have fun.

The pay by check option has been eliminated- You must pay in full via credit card at the time of registration!
The league is organized into boys and girls divisions by grade. This allows the players to be grouped with others of similar skill level and size, ensuring fairness of play. The divisions are
B-K (Boys Kindergarten), G-K (Girls Kindergarten), B-1st Grade, G-1st Grade, B-2, G-2, B-3, G-3, B-4, G-4.
Grades 5/6 and 7/8 are combined into B-5/6, G-5/6, B-7/8 and G-7/8.
We also offer a High School Division for any High Schoolers who are not playing HS soccer and wish to continue their BYS experience.
Play begins on September 9, 2023 for all grades. The season ends at the end of October / beginning of November for Divisions K-4, and early- to mid-November for Divisions with play-offs.
All games are played on Saturday at either East Middle School or Thayer Academy South Athletic Complex. A few evening games are played at Braintree High School for players in 5/6 or 7/8 grade Divisions.
A coach will contact you in late August with information regarding your team and schedule.
Practices are scheduled at the coaches discretion.
Volunteers are needed!
Please consider volunteering as a coach, assistant coach, director or field crew! You don't need to be a soccer expert to coach - and, we pay for your training!
Attention High School Students:
Do you miss BYS? Do you still want to play rec soccer? If you are not playing on a high school team then join our HS division. Games are on Saturday mornings at South Middle School-no practices, just games. We began this division in 2015 and had a blast! Watch for more info in the fall...

When registering, please make sure that all account information is correct - email, phone, address. This is where we get your contact info from. If your account has incorrect/old contact information then we will not be able to contact you!
Important dates:
Late fee goes into effect on 7/1/2023
Players registered after 7/31/2023 are placed on a wait-list
NO REFUNDS after 9/9/2023
REGISTRATION CLOSES 9/16/2023
2023 Refund Policy:
All refunds must be requested in writing and approved by the BYS President. Some portion of the registration fee may not be refunded if the cost to BYS was already incurred prior to the refund request. For example - we must pay to register and insure each player with the state youth soccer association. If that cost has already been paid then it will not be refunded. Additionally, we will withhold any credit card and processing fees that we incur.
No refunds will be given for the Fall Recreational program after September 9, 2023 for any reason, including loss of season due to infectious disease (COVID-19).
